In partnership with the Tourism Industry Association of Canada and Travel Alberta, Tourism Calgary hosted a series of Elevating Canadian Experiences workshops from April 2020 through March 2021. The program was designed to help tourism stakeholders seize innovative opportunities in culinary tourism and in the winter and shoulder seasons. Learnings, tools and resources from these workshops have now been consolidated and are available for FREE through the Elevating Canadian Experiences content Hub.
Culinary Tools: Canada has all the ingredients to become a world class culinary destination. The webinars and national guidelines included in this program are intended to help tourism operators in developing culinary experiences, attracting customers and partnering with other tourism stakeholders. The program also explores how to nurture agritourism, create multisensory experiences and how to exceed visitors' expectations every time.
Winter & Shoulder Season Tools: Our destination has a lot to offer visitors during all seasons. The webinars, toolkit and research report shared through this program are designed to help operators and destination partners develop exceptional, year-round experiences.
