Stampede Parade
The Stampede Parade has served as the kickoff to The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth since 1912. The procession of colourful floats, majestic horses, and high-energy marching bands winds through 18 blocks of downtown Calgary. The 2024 parade marshal is actor Owen Crow Shoe who co-stars alongside the 2022 Parade Marshal Kevin Costner in the movie Horizon: An American Saga.
