If you are game for a leisurely float down the river, we have equipment rentals and drop off points. After a relaxing float, everyone needs an ice cream treat, or a beer, or cocktails and a meal with friends. Montgomery’s business community has a safe, small-town vibe and is the perfect Calgary community to support Canadian and Local. Summer 2025, Montgomery is hosting its first festival: Chalk The Block + Night Market on June 28. Chalk The Block is an arts event with a fun competition that will be part of a curated artisanal Night Market. In the colder months, check out “Light Up Montgomery”, a one night kick off to the season of lights, held the last Saturday in November.
