Traditional Japanese Dining
Traditional Japanese cuisine, sake, sushi and omakase dining.
Why Go
Satsuki is all about Japanese-style sushi, sake and more. Experience Chef May's omakase service, essentially the Japanese version of a chef’s tasting menu (the word “omakase” translates to “I’ll leave it up to you”). The kitchen flies in wagyu beef and a variety of high-quality fish from Japan to offer a fresh experience featuring multiple and constantly evolving courses of sushi as well as appetizers and desserts. Satsuki, named after the Japanese word for “May,” a nod to her first name as well as the beauty of the spring season.
What's Great
May is also a sommelier of sake, trained in the world of sake and part of her menu strategy involves creating food to pair well with rice wine. Try Ng’s signature dish, the sakekasu sablefish risotto. Regular wine, beer, tea, and other non-alcoholic beverages are also on the menu. Sides, including the soy sauce and pickled ginger, are all made from scratch using the finest ingredients available. Private group bookings are welcome.
Local Tip:
Plan for an hour and a half when booking the chef's omakase service.
