Here are a few things to keep in mind when choosing a date for your event in Calgary:

• Got your eyes on July? Keep in mind that for ten days at the beginning of each July, the annual Calgary Stampede & Exhibition takes over the city, meaning hotels and venues may be booked up far in advance. 
• Calgary winters offer exciting outdoor opportunities for skiing, snowboarding, dog sledding and dancing under the Northern Lights in the nearby Canadian Rocky Mountains.
• Calgary summers are mild and bring plenty of adventure as well. Calgarians love to spend time outdoors, especially during warmer months, and there is plenty going on with outdoor festivals and events.
