Phase 1 of a complete exhibit overhaul is underway, and attendees can take a sneak peek at the construction progress. The event includes a 30-minute presentation in the Burnswest Theatre, followed by a guided walk through the cultural centre. Learn about the land's significance to Indigenous Peoples, the establishment of Fort Calgary, and the site's evolution over time.

Celebrate local literature and wintertime in southern Alberta at this special poetry reading. Winners of The Confluence’s second annual Chinook Poetry Competition will share their works about winter and the land. Following the readings, enjoy a community reception in The Confluence Room, where the poems will be displayed throughout the winter.
