Canada’s First National Park

October 14 to April 30: 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Thursdays to Sundays only)

May 1 to June 11: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

June 12 to September 7: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

September 8 to October 12: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

 October 13 to December 31: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Thursdays to Sundays only, closed December 25)


Park Pass

Banff National Park is a protected national park which requires a Park Pass for travel inside the park. Park Passes can be purchased at any of the park entry gates or Parks Canada Visitor Centres. For more information call toll free 1.800.748.7275.
