Alberta Ballet, Canada’s third largest companies recently performed on the world stage as part of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, Opening Ceremonies and is recognized worldwide for its powerful, groundbreaking choreography, performances and its commitment to the advancement of the art of dance.
Each season, Alberta Ballet offers a repertoire that balances classical works with contemporary creations. World-renowned conductors, choreographers and other guest artists are often featured in the company’s performances.
Alberta Ballet operates and performs in both Calgary and Edmonton, with a season that lasts from September to May. Main stage productions in Calgary take place at the Southern Jubilee Auditorium.
